Engraving

Our Sydney-based team has over 30 years’ worth of experience working with various CO2 laser systems. We utilise the laser to engrave, mark, and cut a wide range of materials and products — from elegant glass engraving for crystal awards and drinkware to precise metal engraving for plaques, nameplates, and medals. We commonly engrave products from our extensive range of trophies, medals, and corporate awards, including unique wood engraving for signage, gifts, and marketing products.

Laser engraving is an incredibly versatile method of customisation. The process speed and interaction with a digital interface make it far quicker and more cost-effective compared to traditional engraving methods. Laser engravers are designed to work predominantly with a flat engraving area; however, Platinum Awards has the machinery in-house to engrave cylindrical drinkware, glassware, and reusable drinking devices.

Platinum Awards also offers sublimation colour printing and custom engraving as alternative forms of personalisation. Sublimation printing allows colour artwork and branding to be permanently added to awards, while machine engraving supports schools and sporting clubs in updating their perpetual awards.
