How Custom Engraving Works
Design
We have a team of professional in-house designers who can work with you to create the perfect engraving design for your awards. We can incorporate your logo and other branding, award winner names, award categories, and any other design elements you require. This digital design approach enables our team to provide you with complete engraving artwork before production, as part of our service. Additionally, we can collaborate with your graphic designer if you prefer to handle the design work internally. Once designs are finalised, we then hand over to our team of expert engravers to complete the process.
CO2 Laser Engraving
We primarily use a CO2 laser engraver, which utilises a super-heated CO2 laser beam to ‘burn’ in designs on your chosen medium with pinpoint accuracy. Designs are controlled digitally, which means you can achieve a level of complexity and repeatability in your award engraving that other methods fail to achieve. While most standard engravers can only work with a flat surface, our team has extensive experience with using the CO2 rotary engraver, allowing for detailed engraving and etching on curved surfaces like glassware and bottles.

Crystal
Engraved crystal awards are a premium option, offering matchless beauty and elegance for your award. We often reverse engrave the backs of our crystal awards, which gives depth and complexity to the engraving, further enhancing the look of your crystal awards. We can also engrave on crystal decanters, which come in a stylish black gift box, and have a range of holographic and 3D crystal awards and trophies, all of which can be customised through laser engraving.
Glass and Acrylic
Our range of glass and acrylic awards can be engraved and etched to stunning effect. From plaques and signage to contemporary trophies and awards, our glass and acrylic range is a versatile option for your awards. We also engrave on glassware, decanters, and glass coasters for corporate gift items and promotional material.
Metal
Metal custom awards and engraving are one of our most popular award categories, particularly for sports and professional trophies, team and perpetual award plaques, and sports medals. The majority of our metal trophies, plaque,s and cups are customised with faux metal brushed laminate commonly in Gold, Silver and Bronze. Our range of metal promotional items can also be personalised through laser engraving, and include items like drink bottles, metal tankards, bar tools, pens and keychains.
Wood
Custom engraving on wood gives a stunning visual impact, with the natural variation in the wood providing subtle points of difference in how each piece turns out. Our laser engraving achieves excellent detail and complexity of design, while the natural substrate gives each piece a sense of being unique. Aside from custom awards & engraving, we also have a large range of promotional items and gifts in wood, from bamboo pens to cutting boards, wooden tea and wine boxes to customisable wooden spoons and notebooks.
