Our journey began in the Northern Beaches, supporting the local community with their sports medals and trophies, but we’ve since expanded to become one of Sydney’s premiere suppliers of medals and awards, across multiple industries.
Custom Metal Medals
Platinum Awards has an experienced design team that can walk you through the process of creating a truly custom metal medal. One of the great advantages of using metal is the versatility, enabling you to incorporate many different elements in your medal, from 3D elements to colourisation, engraving and more. Our design team will ensure that all elements are considered, from size to shape, finishes and attachments to tailor your medal to your organisation's branding and event vision.
Choose Your Metal
We work with a number of different metals to create custom metal medals, from alloys to aluminium, steel, and bronze. Depending on your budget and your vision, our design team can help advise you on which metal is best suited to your custom metal medal – for example, if you want a faux gold medal in metal, we can offer a variety of finishes, from a bright gold to brushed antique or two-tone. Similarly, metals can be matte or shiny, or a mixture of two or more different metals to create variation and tone in your custom medal.
Customisation Options
Once you’ve chosen your metal, you can achieve further customisation through enamel coating, which can give vibrant colour to your metal medal or create a 3D feel with cast elements on the medal, for example, a laurel wreath that subtly pops out from the medal’s surface. We can add in your organisation or event logos, use our CO2 laser to engrave names and dates for personalisation of each medal, and further customise through numerous ribbon options, or different gift boxes.
