Our Story
Our story began over a decade ago, supplying the Northern Beaches sporting community with quality medals and trophies. Since then, we’ve expanded our services to support the whole of Sydney and many different industries with trophies, awards, plaques, and medals. Whether it’s a small event with a few specially engraved medals required, or an inter-school competition with thousands of medals required, we’ve got the experience and know-how to make your event shine.
Why Use Medals for Your Event?
While many may think a trophy or award is necessary for celebrating a victory, we only need to remember that an Olympic victory is sealed with a medal! Engraved custom medals are a great option if you are organising a big event and you want to give the competitors and attendees a customised memento. Bulk medals offer a cost-effective way of giving participants and winners recognition of their participation, and can be customised to the event, with names and dates engraved on the reverse side of the medal.
Engraving and Customisation
Gold, Silver, and Bronze custom medals are popular choices and can be engraved with Gold, Silver, and Bronze laminate plates to give an extra layer of customisation. We commonly engrave competitor or event names and dates on the back of medals, or, depending on the medal chosen, they can also feature on the front of the medal. We can also have our team of experienced designers come up with a fully customised medal design that can include striking colour elements, event or organisation logos, and 3D elements as desired. We can also duplicate medal design on custom keyrings to allow non-competitors a way to remember the event long after the day.

We have a huge range of medals ready to go at Platinum Awards, from sport-specific medals like rugby, tennis, or dance, to event-specific medals like spelling bees, academic competitions or participation medals. We have most designs in Gold, Silver and Bronze versions, and can offer medal engraving on the back to include the event name or winner name and the date of the competition or event.
We have over 50 colour combinations of quality ribbon available, or medals can be awarded in velvet lined boxes for a truly powerful presentation.
