Platinum Awards has a decade of experience servicing Sydney with custom-engraved awards and trophies. Our journey began providing sports awards and trophies for sporting events in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and we’ve since grown to provide all kinds of corporate, academic, and custom awards across Sydney and NSW. How CO2 Engraving Works
Our team uses a variety of CO2 laser systems to engrave on different materials. CO2 laser engraving work by using a high-powered infrared beam, produced by CO2, to precision-heat material. This laser beam leaves miniscule cuts or marks on the material, like little pixels that come together to form engravings. Laser engravers are digitally controlled through vectors (a digital design), which means we can create detailed and complex design with precision and repeatability.

Metal Engraving
At Platinum Awards, we offer laser engraving on stainless steel, regular steel, aluminium, and brass. We also have the capability to laser engrave powder coated anodised aluminium, which reveals the contrasting core colour underneath for a striking visual impact. We can also engrave on curved surfaces, like metal drink bottles or tankards, with precision.
Metal Plaque Engraving
Metal plaque engraving helps you celebrate a large variety of awards and achievements, with different base materials, from wood to glass, acrylic and crystal. Plaques are a great way to celebrate team achievements, allowing for multiple awardees’ names to be engraved on individual plates, or perpetual awards, where individual winners are added over time.
Metal Plate Engraving
Metal plate engraving can be used in a variety of different awards and trophies, or for signage, nameplates and mementos. Many of our mixed media awards use metal plates to engrave logos and winners’ names, with a glass or wood background. Similarly, trophy bases often use metal plates to laser engrave the winner’s detail onto.
